We are a startup based in Milan, working in the fields of Research and Sentiment Analysis, building Algorithms with the purpose to make the world a better place. In this aim we have developed a software able to analyze emotions to help the Institutions, the Authorities and the Companies to understand their public needs.

We are looking for a talent who could contribute to the development of Quidow and who shares the same desire. We have a Beta platform which is expected to grow exponentially as it hits the market. So we’re looking for talents to grow with us, in the way that best fits their passions.

OPEN POSITIONS

FRONT END & FULL STACK DEVELOPER

ROLE

You will be a Full Stack Developer, with very strong experience on the Front End, as this is where the majority of the work will be.
You will be part of a very heterogeneous team working closely not only with Engineers and UI/UX Designers, but also with Philosophers, Sociologists, Linguists, Brand and Communication Experts.
You will work on developing sophisticated interfaces for our cutting-edge Data Science application, integrating your work with our algorithms.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality features and finish tasks to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop responsive web application using HTML5, CSS and Typescript, for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms
Work with UX Designers, Architects, and other Developers to implement full stack web and mobile solutions
Join our Think-Tank in translating socio-philosophical insights into software solutions
Architect efficient and reusable Front End systems that drive complex web applications
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Learn new languages & frameworks and contribute code to other layers of our stack

REQUIREMENTS

MSc/BSc in Computer Science or Engineering
3+ years experience of Front End software development
Experience building web applications using modern component oriented frameworks
Experience with Angular 2+ and Bootstrap 3+
Experience with browser APIs and optimizing Front End performance
Thorough understanding of concepts like cross browser compatibility, asynchronous programming and functional programming
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Ph.D or 3 years of Research activity
Experience in developing data visualization applications
Experience with SVG and libraries such as D3js
Experience working with interaction and visual designers
1+ years experience building full stack web applications
Knowledge of Angular 7 and Bootstrap 4
Knowledge of Python

JOB OFFER

We offer a fixed-term contract for 12 months, directly with the Company, with the goal to make it open-ended considering the candidate’s achievements and conduct. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
